How to Cook Indian dhokla with Manjula

Watch as Manjula prepares a popular Indian side dish. Dhokla can be made several different ways, here we see how to make it with semolina flour.

For this recipe you will need:

1 cup sooji (semolina flour)

1 cup yogurt

1/2 teaspoon salt

Pinch of turmeric

1 green chilly finely chopped

2 tablespoons fine chopped cilantro

2 teaspoon lemon juice

1/4 cup water as needed

1 teaspoon ENO's fruit salt(sodium bicarbonate and citric acid)

For the seasoning:

2 tablespoons of oil

1/2 teaspoon black mustard seed

2 green peppers chopped about 1/2 inch long pieces
